A new massive multiplayer game has been unveiled to the world by Trion Worlds Inc., a Redwood Shores, CA company. Above is part of the official description of the game. It goes on to say, "Benevolence quickly turned to tyranny as individual freedom... and cultural identity were crushed under the tank-treads of the Order of Nations. Revolutionaries everywhere are now banding together to challenge this totalitarian enemy in the ultimate war for the future of mankind. End of Nations brings real-time strategy (RTS) and massively multiplayer online (MMO) games together for a gaming experience that is a revolutionary leap forward." The game seems to be the new buzz in the video game world. It features the ability to play with up to 51 people online. Interesting enough when the game starts, players are placed in the "War Room". From here, they can access guild activities and friends list, the Black Market (a store for micro-transaction upgrades), and current in-game events, such as access to all of the battles currently going on in a specific warzone. It will be released in early 2011. The game is played from the perspective of fighting the "Order of Nations", I wonder if they had us in mind while developing it?

Al Gore has canceled an event in Copenhagen, site of the coming United Nations climate summit, where he was to give a presentation promoting his new book about global warming, “Our Choice.”

More than 3,000 Danes had paid for tickets to see the former vice president, who has made fighting climate change a life cause, according to Birlengske Tidende, a Danish publication. However, they will get their money back, the paper said.

Mr. Gore will still be present in Copenhagen for the climate talks, according to Kalee Krieder, a spokeswoman.

The e-mails from a British university were obtained by hackers and posted online about two weeks ago. Climate change skeptics contend the messages show researchers manipulated and suppressed data to stifle dissent.

In the first Capitol Hill airing of the issue, House Republicans Wednesday read excerpts from the e-mails, saying they showed global warming science should be re-examined. One e-mail from 2003 was by John Holdren, President Barack Obama’s science adviser.

The controversy led Phil Jones to step aside as head of the climate research unit at the University of East Anglia, the source of the e-mails. The university is investigating.

By now, you should be aware of the biggest news story of the year, if not the decade:

A few days ago, somebody hacked into the computers at the University of East Anglia’s Climate Research Unit (CRU) and released 61 megabites of confidential files onto the Internet. The files include 1079 emails exchanged among some of the most prominent scientists pushing the Anthropogenic Global Warming (AGW) theory. Revealed in those e-mails are collusion in exaggerating GW data, possibly illegal destruction of embarrassing information, organised resistance to disclosure, manipulation of data, private admissions of flaws in their public claims, and blackballing of dissenting scientists. (See Giovanni’s World’s “Climate Deception” post.)

The archive of over 120Mb of emails, documents, computer code and models from CRU, written between 1996 and 2009, can be downloaded at wikileaks.

Among the thousands of incriminating e-mails is one particular e-mail, #1048799107.txt, which independent journalist Jonathan Brown uncovered. You can also verify this e-mail by going to the Opinion Times website that has all the hacked CRU e-mails. This e-mail presents the Climate Conspirators’ plan for a world government.

Although national governments don’t have to be democratic, the plan paradoxically maintains that the the anticipated World Government would be “democratically” elected by the people of the world. There’d be one delegate/representative per one million people, which means that the larger a country’s population (e.g., China or India), the greater the number of its delegates in the World Government.

EVERYTHING THAT SKEPTICS HAVE BEEN SAYING ABOUT THE ECOFASCISTS IS TRUE!

Worse than that, this e-mail makes it abundantly clear that it’s even worse than what climate change skeptics have been saying all along. This plan for world government is deeply malevolent. It is:

Anti-capitalist;
Anti-western: the people of America & Britain will be tried in a World Court of Justice for unspecified “crimes”; and above all, this plan is maliciously
Anti-American:

There are hostile references to “war machine”;
The US will have far fewer delegates than countries with huge populations such as China & India;
For that matter, there won’t even be a United States because the plan says America will “split” into many independent states “for the peace of the world”.

9/11 pager messages released on Wikileaks

From 3AM on Wednesday November 25, 2009, until 3AM the following day (US east coast time), WikiLeaks is releasing over half a million US national text pager intercepts. The intercepts cover a 24 hour period surrounding the September 11, 2001 attacks in New York and Washington.

Today has been a whirlwind. I never expected to find what I found when I woke up today, I just wanted to have a look at the emails myself. What I found made my jaw hit the floor. Instantly I knew that I was looking at one of the most incriminating emails I had ever seen. I knew I had to get it on the net ASAP so I posted it on my blog. My girlfriend and I had met Aaron Dykes a few weeks ago, so I had his cellphone number. I immediately began calling Aaron and the second time he answered. I gave him the Info, and the rest, well I don't know.... It's too soon to tell what will come of this, but I ask everyone to go viral with this, and get the word out. I credit the hackers for obtaining the information, all I did was dig a little. It's time to do something about this America.

there is no longer any reason to wait. We are the Earth Community, and we will form the
Earth Government. Earth management is a priority and is a duty by every responsible person.
A democratically elected Earth Government will now be formed, and we want you to reflect on
future effects of such an event on the history of humanity. Certainly one will expect
extraordinary changes: a reorganizing of human activities all over the planet;
participation by all societies on the planet in solving local and global problems; new
alliances forming; north meeting with south (eradication of poverty will be the price to
pay to get votes from the south) in order to gather more votes within the newly created
Earth Government to satisfy power struggles between European, Asian and Western countries;
adoption of democratic principles, human and Earth rights, global concepts, and universal
values by every human being; expansion of consciousness; gathering and coordinating of
forces to resolve social and political problems in a peaceful way (no more conflicts or
wars); gathering and coordinating of forces (technologies, scientific research, exploration
work, human resources, etc.) to resolve global problems such as global climate,
environment, availability of resources, poverty, employment, etc. Thousands more changes!

Let your heart and mind reflect on 'the good' of a democratically elected Earth Government.
Everyone is part of Earth Community by birth and therefore everyone has a right to vote.
Everyone should be given a chance to vote. Decisions will be made democratically.

Earth Government is proposing that:

a) different nations may require different political systems at different times
b) a democratic system is not a "must have it" to be a responsible member nation of the
Earth Government
c) all democracies are to be upgraded, or improved upon, to be a responsible member nation
of the Earth Government. The Scale of Human and Earth Rights and the Charter of the Earth
Government are the newly added requirements to all democratic systems of the world.

In today's Earth Government it is important for our survival to cooperate globally on
several aspects such as peace, security, pollution in the air, water and land, drug trade,
shelving the war industry, keeping the world healthy, enforcing global justice for all,
eradicating poverty worldwide, replacing the Universal Declaration of Human Rights by the
Scale of Human and Earth Rights, and entrenching the Charter of Earth Government as a way
of life for the good of all.

Earth needs urgently a world system of governance. The United Nations fail to satisfy the
needs of the people of the 21st Century. It has never improved upon the old ways and
thinking of the middle of the 20th Century. Its voting system no longer satisfy the 6.157
billion people on Earth. The challenges are different and require a world organization up
for dealing with the needs of all these people.

During the past several years, the Earth Government has been pleading the United Nations
leaders to make changes in the UN organizational structure and ways of doing things. There
has been an urgent need for fundamental changes in the United Nations organization. The
decision of the United States Government to invade the Middle East nations and Afghanistan
has shown to be a result of this incapacity for changes on the part of the United Nations.
A lack of leadership at the United Nations is a major threat to the security of the world.
The world wants a true democratic world organization. The UN is not!

The most fundamental requirement of a world organization is a democratic system of voting.
Democracy must be a priority. The right that the greatest number of people has by virtue of
its number (50% plus one) is a human right. It should be respected. The actual UN system of
voting is undemocratic, unfair and noone likes it. It does not work! Earth Government has
proposed a voting system based on democracy.

Of the 190 Member States of the United Nations, it takes only one of the five permanent
members to overthrow any decision or proposal during a meeting. This means 1/189 or 0.5% of
the membership is more powerful than the remaining 99.5%. If that is not a dictature, what
is it? It does not say much about democracy at the UN. More like a dictature of the five
permanent members. In the Preamble of the Charter of the United Nations, it says "WE THE
PEOPLES OF THE UNITED NATIONS " but in fact it should say "WE THE FIVE PERMANENT MEMBERS".

The voting system for Earth Government is very simple and practical. One representative per
million people. If all countries in the world had decided now to participate with this
process we would have today 6,114 elected representatives to form Earth Government. They
would form the Legislative body of Earth Government. They could actually all stay home to
govern or from some place in their communities. Today communications are more than good
enough to allow voting and discussing issues, etc. through the Internet and video
conferencing. That would cut cost of governing down to a minimum, at least administrative
costs. The Executive body would also govern in this way to cut cost down to a minimum.
Ministers can administer their Ministries from where they live if they wish to. There will
be a place for the Headquarters. We will show that it costs very little to administer Earth
Government, and that we can achieve immense results. There is no limit to the good the
Earth Government can achieve in the world. Think! What can do a unified 6.114 billion
people determined to make things work to keep Earth healthy?

For the first time in human history, and the first time this millennium, humanity has
proposed a benchmark:

* formation of Earth Government
* formation of global ministries in all important aspects of our lives
* the Scale of Human and Earth Rights as a replacement to the Universal Declaration of
Human Rights
* an evolved Democracy based on the Scale of Human and Earth Rights and the Charter of
the Earth Government
* a central organization for Earth management, the restoration of the planet and Earth
governance: the Global Community Assessment Centre (GCAC)
* the Earth Court of Justice to deal with all aspects of the Governance and Mangement of
the Earth
* a new impetus given to the way of doing business and trade
* more new, diversified (geographical, economical, political, social, business,
religious) symbiotical relationships between nations, communities, businesses, for the
good and well-being of all
* the event and formation of the human family and the Soul of Humanity
* proposal to reform the United Nations, the World Trade Organization, the World Bank,
the IMF, NAFTA, FTAA, and to centralize them under Earth Government, and these
organizations will be asked to pay a global tax to be administered by Earth Government
* the Peace Movement of the Earth Government and shelving of the war industry from
humanity
* a global regulatory framework for capitals and corporations that emphasizes global
corporate ethics, corporate social responsibility, protection of human and Earth rights,
the environment, community and family aspects, safe working conditions, fair wages and
sustainable consumption aspects
* the ruling by the Earth Court of Justice of the abolishment of the debt of the poor or
developing nations as it is really a form of global tax to be paid annually by the rich
or industrialized nations to the developing nations
* establishing freshwater and clean air as primordial human rights

The political system of an individual country does not have to be a democracy. Political
rights of a country belong to that country alone. Democracy is not to be enforced by anyone
and to anyone or to any community. Every community can and should choose the political
system of their choice with the understanding of the importance of such a right on the
Scale of Human and Earth Rights. On the other hand, representatives to Earth Government
must be elected democratically in every part of the world. An individual country may have
any political system at home but the government of that country will have to ensure (and
allow verification by Earth Government) that representatives to Earth Government have been
elected democratically. This way, every person in the world can claim the birth right of
electing a democratic government to manage Earth: the rights to vote and elect
representatives to form the Earth Government.

In order to elect representatives to Earth Government it is proposed the following:

A. Each individual government in the world will administer the election of
representatives to Earth Government with an NGO and/or members of Earth Government be
allowed to verify all aspects of the process to the satisfaction of all parties
involved.
B. Representatives be elected every five years to form a new Earth Government.
C. It is proposed here that there will be one elected representative per 1,000,000
people. A population of 100 million people will elect 100 representatives. This process
will create a feeling of belonging and participating to the affairs of the Earth
Community and Earth Government.
D. A typical community of a million people does not have to be bounded by a geographical
or political border. It can be a million people living in many different locations all
over the world. The Global Community is thus more fluid and dynamic. We need to let go
the archaic ways of seeing a community as the street where I live and contained by a
border. Many conflicts and wars will be avoided by seeing ourselves as people with a
heart, a mind and a Soul, and as part of a community with the same.
E. Earth population is now 6.114 billion people. If all representatives had been elected
this year there would be 6,114 representatives to form Earth Government. They would be
the Legislative elected body of Earth Government. They would participate in some ways in
choosing the Executive and Judiciary bodies of Earth Government.

Humanity has now a Vision of the Earth in the years to come and a sense of direction.

May the DIVINE WILL come into our lives and show us the way.
May our higher purpose in life bring us closer to the Soul of Humanity and God.

WASHINGTON (CNNMoney.com) -- Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke has a tough road ahead.

Very tough.

Bernanke, whose four-year term expires in January, is certain to face a contentious Senate banking panel at his confirmation hearing, set for Dec. 3. He is also defending against the sharpest attack on Federal Reserve powers ever.

The latest blow came last week, when a House panel overwhelmingly agreed to tack on to must-pass regulatory reform a proposal to dig into the Fed's books, despite attempts by Rep. Barney Frank, D-Mass., to make it less intrusive.

Fed watchers say they expect that Bernanke will be confirmed for a second term as chairman. But he may get the fewest favorable votes on record - and end up at the helm of a vastly changed Federal Reserve.

"It's going to wind up to be a very different institution," said American Enterprise Institute scholar Vincent Reinhart, a former director of the Fed's division of monetary affairs. "At least on the Federal Reserve part, Congress is going to converge on something that's tougher on the Fed. It's a way to vent anger. And fundamentally people are angry."

The picture that emerges of prominent climate-change scientists from the more than 3,000 documents and emails accessed by hackers and put on the Internet this week is one of professional backbiting and questionable scientific practices. It could undermine the idea that the science of man-made global warming is entirely settled just weeks before a crucial climate-change summit.

Researchers at the Climatic Research Unit at the University of East Anglia, England, were victims of a cyberattack by hackers sometime Thursday. A collection of emails dating back to the mid-1990s as well as scientific documents were splashed across the Internet. University officials confirmed the hacker attack, but couldn't immediately confirm the authenticity of all the documents posted on the Internet.

The publicly posted material includes years of correspondence among leading climate researchers, most of whom participate in the preparation of climate-change reports for the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, the authoritative summaries of global climate science that influence policy makers around the world.

The release of the documents comes just weeks before a big climate-change summit in Copenhagen, Denmark, meant to lay the groundwork for a new global treaty to curb greenhouse-gas emissions and fight climate change. Momentum for an agreement has been undermined by the economic slump, which has put environmental issues on the back burner in most countries, and by a 10-year cooling trend in global temperatures that runs contrary to many of the dire predictions in climate models such as the IPCC's.

A partial review of the emails shows that in many cases, climate scientists revealed that their own research wasn't always conclusive. In others, they discussed ways to paper over differences among themselves in order to present a "unified" view on climate change. On at least one occasion, climate scientists were asked to "beef up" conclusions about climate change and extreme weather events because environmental officials in one country were planning a "big public splash."

The release of the documents has given ammunition to many skeptics of man-made global warming, who for years have argued that the scientific "consensus" was less robust than the official IPCC summaries indicated and that climate researchers systematically ostracized other scientists who presented findings that differed from orthodox views.

The Indiana Department of Administration has laid off 33 workers in what is described as a belt-tightening measure. Commissioner Mark Everson says the reductions are across several areas of the department, but most are in public works. He says with the state cutting costs, there will be fewer projects to manage. Everson also says the cuts are related to Governor Mitch Daniels' recent call for state agencies to reduce spending by 10 percent.

FSSA announces spending cuts

The Indiana Family and Social Services Administration is slashing its budget to deal with revenue shortfalls and an increase in Medicaid enrollment. It is cutting Medicaid reimbursements to hospitals, issuing a hiring freeze and reworking contracts. More FSSA cuts are expected. The reductions do not include a 10-percent cut ordered by Gov. Mitch Daniels for all state agencies.

I've been living in Austin Texas for a little over 2 months now. Austin is the best place I've ever been, period. My girlfriend and I came here with nothing, living "homeless" for the past couple of months, but I gotta tell you, It's been great, not that there haven't been tough times. In Austin, no one goes hungry, there is free food in many places, and there is even a free food truck that comes everyday, no lie. I've been hanging out at Brave New Books alot lately, there are good people there. I also recently got a camera and am going to volunteer for Austin Copwatch http://www.geocities.com/austincopwatch/ Here in Austin we have the famous Sixth Street. I have never seen anything like it before, they close the whole street on the weekends and people bar hop all the way down the street, it reminds me of Mardi Gras or something, except this is EVERY weekend. Lately I've witnessed the police becoming much more aggressive, too bad I didn't have my camera at the time. I'm kicking around the idea of a 6th Street YouTube channel, I think people will eat it up. Here is a video that I took on 6th street tonight, sorry about the poor quality, working on it.

I came across this video of what happened in Waveland, Mississippi after hurricane Katrina. It stall amazes me that to this day many people do not realize that it was the Rainbow Family that was helping and feeding people there. This is a really powerful video that really shows what Rainbow is all about. I was blessed with meeting "Dirty Mama" this past February at the Ocala regional. At the time I didn't realize that she played such a huge role in the Waveland Cafe, I just knew that she was special. I just want to say, you all rock for what you did down there.

There is a bill in the House of Representatives that will Audit the Federal Reserve, and after seeing this, I think something should be done. ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Thieves broke into five U.S. Forest Service Police vehicles as the officers slept at an Albuquerque hotel, taking off with several high-powered rifles, laptops and radios.

The officers discovered the thefts at the Sheraton Uptown early Thursday morning and called Albuquerque police.

As police investigated, Bernalillo County firefighters responded to a fire on Albuquerque's West Mesa, where they discovered some of the stolen laptops, radios and documents burning.

Something truly unique is happening, people are coming together in a New Mexico national forest near Cuba, NM to express their freedom and pray for world peace. With the state of the world right now, I think it is needed. Local news in New Mexico jumped on the story even before the un-official Rainbow Family council was done, so some of this is still up in the air, to be announced at any moment. Considering all the trials and tribulations we are all experiencing in the world today, I think we all deserve this. I have been attending Rainbow Gatherings since July 2001, right before 9-11, and I just want to express my urgency for all InfoWarriors and freedom lovers to accept this invitation to attend the Gathering July 1-7. I was a Rainbow Warrior before I was an InfoWarrior, so it is important to me to bridge the gap between these two worlds, both groups have much to learn from each other. I want to clear up some misconceptions about "hippies". Within the "hippie" community you have different "types", I won't get into all the differences, but i can assure you that we aren't all left wing Obama supporters. The "Rainbows" are much different than your average concert attending "hippie". A very important part of the rainbow life is personal sovereignty, something that is dwindling in today's society. We work together individually toward a common purpose, and that purpose is personal freedom for all that are peaceful. The term "Rainbow" refers to all colors, classes, and creeds of people--we are the rainbow. The word rainbow has been purposely perverted by todays society, like all good things. The gathering means different things to different people, to me it symbolizes what life would be like without what we call "Babylon", the control grid that we call life. It is about preparation for the economic collapse this is going to change life as we know it. It is about strangers caring for one another, sharing, and learning a better way. WHO: Drug Companies Must Prepare for Swine Flu Vaccine

The World Health Organization said all pharmaceutical manufacturers must be ready to start producing vaccines to protect people against the Swine Influenza A-H1N1 virus as soon as they are given the go-ahead.

WHO said it will take four to six months for the first lot of swine flu vaccines to become available between the time the strain of the virus is identified and production begins.

So, WHO Director of the Initiative for Vaccine Research, Marie-Paule Kieny, said pharmaceutical companies should start getting ready now.

So I've been watching this swine flu thing unfold and it seems to be growing quickly. The virus itself seems a bit odd to say the least. pig/bird/human?? Sounds like a Lab creation to me. A couple of weeks ago there were "conspiracy" rumors flying around about the military moving bird flu around in preparation for something. I just find it highly coincidental that this has started now. I guess we'll just have to see where this goes...Stay tuned

U.S military contractor KBR, a former subisidary of Halliburton, is facing a number of lawsuits over its activities in Iraq, and elsewhere.

KBR is the largest contractor for the United States Army and a top-ten contractor for the U.S. Department of Defense.

In one class-action suit Joshua Eller, a civilian who worked for the U.S. Air Force in 2006 at the Balad air force base northeast of Baghdad, alleges KBR 'knowingly and intentionally supplied to U.S. forces and other individuals food that was expired, spoiled, rotten, or that may have been contaminated with shrapnel, or other materials'.

KBR 'supplied water which was contaminated, untreated, and unsafe', Eller charged, detailing a number of examples.

He said Halliburton and KBR 'shipped ice served to U.S. forces in trucks that had been used to carry human remains and that still had traces of body fluids and putrefied remains.'

Dec. 12 (Bloomberg) — The Federal Reserve refused a request by Bloomberg News to disclose the recipients of more than $2 trillion of emergency loans from U.S. taxpayers and the assets the central bank is accepting as collateral.
Bloomberg filed suit Nov. 7 under the U.S. Freedom of Information Act requesting details about the terms of 11 Fed lending programs, most created during the deepest financial crisis since the Great Depression.

Town introduces swearing fines in crackdown on anti-social behaviour

Revellers will be reminded of the ban with posters and banners with slogans such as 'No Effin & Jeffin' and 'No Aggro', which are being put up in the area.

Officials are also clamping down on other forms of anti-social behaviour such as vomiting and urinating in the street.

One poster depicts a person being sick with the slogan 'No Pavement Pizza', while another reads 'Don't pee anti-social'.

Flyers have been put up in shops, restaurants and takeaways in the city centre and stickers will be used on beer mats in pubs and clubs.

Later this week, 10ft banners will be displayed on the sides of buses, as part of the 'Respect Our City' campaign.

Although brought in for the festive season, the council will retain the ban into the new year.

Councillor Kate Calder, of Preston City Council's community safety committee, said: 'We want people to respect the city and each other when they are out and about.

We want to put a stop to antisocial behaviour such as fighting, littering and swearing around town so that everyone can enjoy a happy, safe Christmas.'

Inspector Stuart Whittle from Lancashire Constabulary said: 'We hope that the Respect Our City campaign will encourage people to think about their behaviour and take pride in our city.'

Preston has long had problems with binge-drinking in its town centre and last year it was revealed its police attended 1,000 alcohol-related incidents a week.

It is thought to be the first time a council has introduced an anti-swearing policy in a town centre.

In 2005, however, one local authority banned swearing on a council estate.

NEW WORLD ORDER EUGENICS COMPENSATION OFFERED TO 1929-1974 VICTIMS IN NORTH CAROLINA

There has been a movement by RALEIGH State Rep. Larry Womble to bring compensation to the victims of the Eugenics program that sterilized 7,600 men, women , and children. This took place in North Carolina and virtuously sterilized these people not allowing them to have the chance to reproduce. The reasons given at the time were propmiscious behaviour or feeble mindedness, or a not a contributing member of North Carolina's society. State Rep Wobble says that threats were made that Welfare benefits would be cut if those inviduals would not partake in the state's sterilization program. One such individual named Willis Lynch a 75 year old who had the proceedure done when he was only 14. Lynch stated that he " had no idea what was going on"

This however is not suitable reasons for sterilization, especially when provided by the state welfare department. Along with compensation there is talk of a monument to honour the victims as well as free education , and counselling and increased health provisions. Also an inclusion of this into the education curriculm for future education purposes. This does little to comfort people such as Lynch who feels no amount of money can replace the fact that he can not have children.

Panel Offers Ways to Bolster Cyberspace Security

SAN FRANCISCO — License plates may be coming to cyberspace. A government and technology industry panel on cyber-security is recommending that the federal government end its reliance on passwords and enforce what the industry describes as “strong authentication.” Such an approach would probably mean that all government computer users would have to hold a device to gain access to a network computer or online service. The commission is also encouraging all nongovernmental commercial services use such a device.

The Beatle was shot on the night of December 8th (28 years ago this Monday) by Mark David Chapman (who was just denied parole again). Shortly after, he was pronounced dead at Roosevelt Hospital, and was later cremated in Hartsdale, New York. Today, those who loved and admired him continue to commemorate his life.

I have been going to Rainbow Gatherings since 2001. There is really no way to describe what it's like except to say that it is the abscence of all that is "normal". NEW YORK/CHICAGO (Reuters) - The possible combination of exchange giants NYSE Euronext and Deutsche Boerse could unleash a wave of mergers as the industry prepares to tackle the over-the-counter market.

It would also shake the competitive balance among market operators in Europe and the United States.

German magazine Der Spiegel reported that the top U.S. and German exchange operators are planning a merger, citing an internal paper it said Deutsche Bourse's CEO presented to company management.

Together, the companies would run stock exchanges in Frankfurt, Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels, Lisbon and New York, and would handle the most U.S. listed options volume by far.

Such a deal would create a mammoth exchange operator handling scores of products and boasting deep liquidity, but would face big regulatory hurdles, analysts said on Saturday.

India Picks Rothschild to Auction 3G Phone Spectrum

Nov. 25 (Bloomberg) -- India has picked NM Rothschild & Sons Ltd. as the independent auctioneer to help it sell permits for airwaves to offer high-speed mobile-phone services, Communications Minister Andimuthu Raja said today.

The auction of licenses for the third-generation, or 3G, mobile-phone radio spectrum will start in ``two to three days'' and is expected to be completed by Jan. 15, Siddhartha Behura, secretary to the federal government's telecommunications department, said in New Delhi today.

Obama's New World Order

It was hard to miss the message that Barack Obama was sending with the powerful tableau lined up behind him onstage in Chicago. "I assembled this team because I'm a strong believer in strong personalities and strong opinions," the President-elect said of his national-security picks. The top three members of that team certainly fit the description. In Hillary Clinton, Obama is getting a Secretary of State who battled him to the bitter end of a Democratic primary season focused largely on the question of who was better equipped to be Commander in Chief. In bringing in retired Marine general James Jones as his National Security Adviser and retaining Defense Secretary Robert Gates, Obama is turning to two men who might have seemed more obvious choices had John McCain won the White House. And all three were on the opposite side from Obama on the defining foreign policy decision of the past decade: whether to invade Iraq.

Activist moves homeless into foreclosures

MIAMI - Max Rameau delivers his sales pitch like a pro. "All tile floor!" he says during a recent showing. "And the living room, wow! It has great blinds."

But in nearly every other respect, he is unlike any real estate agent you've ever met. He is unshaven, drives a beat-up car and wears grungy cut-off sweat pants. He also breaks into the homes he shows. And his clients don't have a dime for a down payment.

Rameau is an activist who has been executing a bailout plan of his own around Miami's empty streets: He is helping homeless people illegally move into foreclosed homes. "We're matching homeless people with people-less homes," he said with a grin.

This is pretty wild.

This is my first attempt at blogging. I've been doing it a little over a week now. I have been listening to Alex Jones since about 2003. I am a huge fan of his and would love an opportunity to work for him, but for now I am doing this. I am pretty frustrated lately, so I'm trying to use my anger for something good. I know that I am supposed to be involved with the awakening that is happening, I'm just trying to start from nothing here. Nothing else really matters now, there is only this. We used to be able to look away from the New World Order and just go on with our "lives". Now, when i go outside, it's all I see. It's kind of a curse I guess. I just hope that people enjoy this Blog and pass it on.

I have come to the realization that I can no longer function in this New World Order. I recently lost my job because I wouldn't snitch on a co-worker(that had already been snitched on) I refused to give information on him so I was "Let go". This New World Order makes me sick. Because of my non-compliance with the world I am finding myself pretty broke nowadays. If i have to, I guess I'll go get another meaningless job, but it seems to me that the best job available today is waking people up. I have this dream of working for Alex Jones, doing something that matters. I've been told that I should beg for donations, so I will. Please, any of you in this movement that would like to help a struggling soul, it would be appreciated.

Washington Post: 20,000 more U.S. troops to be deployed for "Domestic Security"

The Washington Post today reports on plans to station 20,000 more U.S. troops inside America for purposes of “domestic security” from September 2011, an expansion of Northcom’s militarization of the country in preparation for potential civil unrest following a total economic collapse or a mass terror attack.

“The U.S. military expects to have 20,000 uniformed troops inside the United States by 2011 trained to help state and local officials respond to a nuclear terrorist attack or other domestic catastrophe, according to Pentagon officials,” reports the Post.

“Domestic emergency deployment may be “just the first example of a series of expansions in presidential and military authority,” or even an increase in domestic surveillance, said Anna Christensen of the ACLU’s National Security Project. And Cato Vice President Gene Healy warned of “a creeping militarization” of homeland security.”

As Alex Jones exposed back in the late 1990’s, U.S. troops have been training for this eventuality for a considerable amount of time. During numerous urban warfare drills that Jones attended and reported on, troops were trained to raid, arrest and imprison U.S. citizens in detention camps as well as taking over public buildings and running checkpoints. During role playing exercises, actors playing prisoners would scream “I’m an American citizen, I have rights” as they were being dragged away by troops.

Black and White masonic groups officially recognize each other

RALEIGH - Members of the state’s two Masonic organizations — one black, one white — ended 138 years of mutual disregard Friday by signing a resolution recognizing each other as brother Masons.

The resolution, signed near the end of a nearly two-hour ceremony full of formality and speeches, ended a vestige of the segregation era, during which the two groups — one white, the other black — spent decades following the ancient tenets and teachings of freemasonry while each pretended the other didn’t exist.

“Today’s a historic day, because we’re here to say we’re brothers again,” said David Cash, a Methodist minister from Kannapolis and grand master of the white group, the Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons of North Carolina.

Organic Consumers & Companies Harassed by Drug Agents & Police

For Nadine Artemis and Ron Obadia, August began with plans for a
family vacation in Minnesota. The vacation ended with the two Canadian
citizens being led through Toronto's airport in handcuffs, locked up
and separated from their baby. "We were dumbfounded," Artemis says.
Police told them they could be facing years in prison for exporting
narcotics, because 2.5 pounds of material found in their carry-on bag
tested positive for hashish. "All we knew was that we didn't have
drugs."

They were telling the truth. They didn't have drugs. They had
chocolate.

The couple were caught up in what civil libertarians, public defenders
and some narcotics experts say is a growing problem: the use of
unreliable field drug-test kits as the basis to arrest innocent people
on illegal drug charges.

The inexpensive test kits are used by virtually every police
department in the country and by federal agents, including Customs
officers at the nation's borders. The kits test suspicious materials,
and a positive result generally leads to an arrest and court date,
pending more sophisticated tests done after the sample is sent to a
lab.

The kits use powerful acids that react with the substance in a plastic
pouch. If the liquid turns a certain color, it is a considered a
positive result. But a number of legal products and plants test
positive: chocolate for hashish; rosemary for marijuana; and natural
soaps for the "date-rape drug" GHB.

"The tests have no validity," says former FBI narcotics investigator
Frederick Whitehurst. And as more organic products come on the market,
"the potential for civil rights violations when these presumptive
tests are out there is phenomenal."

Although police have been using the field test kits for decades,
"there's no regulation, no oversight that these drug tests perform in
any way," says Dr. Bronner's Magic Soaps President David Bronner,
whose products have tested positive for GHB.

The US Prepares to Expand the War to Pakistan

Obama has been critical of McCain in regard to the hunt for Osama bin Laden, saying that McCain is willing to follow Osama to the gates of hell, but is not even willing to go to the cave where he is living. That cave is currently presumed to be in the tribal areas of Pakistan, possibly in North or South Waziristan. The area is known to be a stronghold for the Taliban, where they have re-grouped following the invasion of Afghanistan, and organize increasingly effective raids against allied forces over the border. The last year has found American and NATO forces suffering their worst losses since the start of the invasion, and it has been reported that Bush has approved Special Forces operations in Pakistan territory. High level negotiations have been taking place between the US and Pakistan officials, following the landing of American helicopters and troops in a village in North Waziristan in which 20 people were killed by US soldiers.

Research on mice links fast food to Alzheimer's

LONDON (Reuters) - Mice fed junk food for nine months showed signs of developing the abnormal brain tangles strongly associated with Alzheimer's disease, a Swedish researcher said on Friday.

The findings, which come from a series of published papers by a researcher at Sweden's Karolinska Institutet, show how a diet rich in fat, sugar and cholesterol could increase the risk of the most common type of dementia.

"On examining the brains of these mice, we found a chemical change not unlike that found in the Alzheimer brain," Susanne Akterin, a researcher at the Karolinska Institutet's Alzheimer's Disease Research Center, who led the study, said in a statement.

"We now suspect that a high intake of fat and cholesterol in combination with genetic factors ... can adversely affect several brain substances, which can be a contributory factor in the development of Alzheimer's."

Alzheimer's disease is incurable and is the most common form of dementia among older people. It affects the regions of the brain involving thought, memory and language.

While the most advanced drugs have focused on removing clumps of beta amyloid protein that forms plaques in the brain, researchers are also now looking at therapies to address the toxic tangles caused by an abnormal build-up of the protein tau.

In her research, Akterin focused on a gene variant called apoE4, found in 15 to 20 percent of people and which is a known risk factor for Alzheimer's. The gene is involved in the transport of cholesterol.

She studied mice genetically engineered to mimic the effect of the variant gene in humans, and which were fed a diet rich in fat, sugar and cholesterol for nine months -- meals representing the nutritional content of fast food.

These mice showed chemical changes in their brains, indicating an abnormal build-up of the protein tau as well as signs that cholesterol in food reduced levels of another protein called Arc involved in memory storage, Akterin said.

"All in all, the results give some indication of how Alzheimer's can be prevented, but more research in this field needs to be done before proper advice can be passed on to the general public," she said.

The world’s biggest leisure activity is watching television. Not walking or reading, not playing games with our children, not engaging with others in outdoor activities. Most of us like to think that television has absolutely no effect on how we think or what we do. We believe that it is a way to relax. Many of us may be surprised to know that television is a controlling medium, relaxing us enough to switch off our analytical brain (the left side of the brain) so that we uncritically, or unlogically, process the information beaming from the television. This means we are less able to make decisions or judgments about what we hear on television.

Apple's latest DRM will restrict your wardrobe

You've heard, of course, of digital rights management - used to control how you play, copy or otherwise use media files like music.

Now Apple wants to apply that concept to your sporting wardrobe. In US patent application 2008/0218310, the company details a way to stop us using unauthorised training shoes with the in-sole sensors it sells as part of the Nike + iPod kit. The shoe sensors work as pedometers, sending the data to your iPod as you run.

Apple's patent explains that "some people have taken it upon themselves to remove the sensor from the special pocket of the Nike shoe and place it in inappropriate locations - shoelaces, for example - or place it on non-Nike shoes".

They seem to consider this beyond the pale. The patent details a way of "pairing a sensor and an authorised garment", such as "running shoes, shirts or slacks". Companies like Nike could authorise their garments by burying an RFID chip inside it. That chip is required to activate the sensor. No longer will you be able to use the sensor you paid for with any shoe of your choosing.

Apple's idea sounds mean-minded to me. What do you think?

The company has previous form, though. Last year they tried to patent a system that would prevent you from recharging a music player if you ever use it with unauthorised software.
